Wine.com Review
Strawberries, cherries and an angel’s kiss in
spring… - Wine.com (by Coupon-B.com)
Right was he
who stated - God in His goodness sent the grapes to cheer both
great and small, the little fools will drink too much, and great
fools not at all. Wine.com picked up on the idea a little faster
than the rest; in a fun, easy and risk-free manner, it thus brought
us the chance of discovering the great variety of wines from all
over the world. Added with a reliable shipping service and 10
licensed retail outlets across the country, it is not tough to
understand why the products from wine.com spend less time on the
road and more on the table. But the story doesn’t end there; apart
from the wine, there awaits an extensive (impressive too) assortment
of gourmet food as well as wine gift baskets that have been proved
to create a lasting impression in the minds of individual
recipients. But does that count the buyer’s out? Absolutely not, for
their discount and free shipping offers on the 14,000 unique wines
ranging from Carbenet Sauvignon, Champagne and
Chardonnay to Fruit Wines, Kosher Wine, Merlot
and Semillon are bound set any heart aflutter with the kind
of flexibility wine.com brings forth.

Wine and Dine

The party
was a big hit and everyone was gushing about the wines that were
served. As always, I never went to the local retail stores. Rather I
browsed the Internet. There were scores of wine websites on the
Internet but I had my favorites -
wine.com and
My Wine Direct.
I chose these websites over the retail stores for obvious reasons.
The collection was impressive and so were the rates. I also liked
the web interface. They were clever and informative. There were
sections for first timers, for new wines, for gifts and the works.
And for wine lovers like me, they also had a little write-up for
each of the wines.
This time
I had selected what was called the Super Dozen 06 from wine
messenger. It was a special pack of 12 best wines. What I found
interesting was not just the assortment of the choicest wines but
the trivia next to each of them. It even mentioned the food
accompaniment that went best with the wine. This made things easier
for me to plan the menu.
Let’s talk
about the Super Dozen 06 some more. Did you know that Corda Pinot
Noir 2002 was best served with chicken sausage, duck, and game?
Likewise Ca’ Del Baio Marcarini Barbaresco DOCG 2003 went best with
barbeque chicken, grilled red meats, and lamb?
My
frequent visits to these wine sites have almost made me a wine
connoisseur, well at least to my friends. Whenever, anyone is
throwing a party or having important guests over, they give me a
tinkle. And I am only glad to dispense with this new found
knowledge. For instance, last week my friend Stella was having her
fiancé’s parents over for dinner. I had already told her of
wine.com and
My Wine Direct.
But that was not her worry. She was awful with uncorking the bottles
and didn’t want to appear clumsy in front of her to be in-laws. So
she dialed me in panic as if I had the answer to everything. And
surprisingly I did, at least to this. I remember reading on
wine.com
something about not having corked wine. So I immediately logged on
to the website and boy was I glad. They did have some bottles with
screw caps and till this day Stella can never thank me enough for
saving her grace!
Wines are
also great gift items. They come in elegant packages and most
websites offer special
wine discounts on coupons and promo codes. You can choose from
their gift baskets, their special packs or even their gift
certificates. The gift baskets are popular as they come with a
combination of wines, cheeses, chocolates and more. For example,
take the Napa Crush Gift Basket – it contains:
-
Napa Valley Chardonnay
-
Gouda Cheese
-
Salami
-
Pistachios
-
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
Cookies
-
California Crisp Crackers
-
Ghirardelli Chocolate
Assortment
Whatever
way you are veering, remember where there is wine, things are bound
to be fine.
